ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು: ಸರ್ಕಾರದ ಹೋಂ ಕ್ವಾರಂಟೈನ್ ನಿಯಮ ಉಲ್ಲಂಘಿಸಿದ ಆರೋಪದಡಿ ಡ್ರೋನ್ ಪ್ರತಾಪ್ ವಿರುದ್ಧ ಬೆಂಗಳೂರಿನ ಅಶೋಕ ನಗರ ಪೊಲೀಸ್‌ ಠಾಣೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಎಫ್ಐಆರ್ ದಾಖಲಾಗಿದೆ.
ಬೆಂಗಳೂರಿನ ರಿಚ್ಮಂಡ್ ವೃತ್ತದ ಬಳಿ ಇರುವ ಸ್ಟಾರ್‌ ಹೋಟೆಲ್‌ನಲ್ಲಿ ಎನ್. ಎಂ. ಪ್ರತಾಪ್‍ರನ್ನು ಜುಲೈ 20ರಂದು ಸಾಂಸ್ಥಿಕ ಕ್ವಾರಂಟೈನ್‌ಗೆ ಒಳಪಡಸಿಲಾಗಿತ್ತು. ಅವರ ಕ್ವಾರಂಟೈನ್ ಅವಧಿ, ಆಗಸ್ಟ್‌ 3ಕ್ಕೆ ಮುಗಿಯುತ್ತಿತ್ತು. ಅದಕ್ಕೂ ಮುನ್ನ ವಕೀಲರನ್ನು ಹೋಟೆಲ್‍ಗೆ ಕರೆಸುವ ಮೂಲಕ ಪ್ರತಾಪ್ ಕ್ವಾರಂಟೈನ್ ನಿಯಮ ಉಲ್ಲಂಘಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ ಎಂದು ಆರೋಪಿಸಿ ಪೊಲೀಸರು ಆತನ ಮೇಲೆ ಕೇಸ್‌ ದಾಖಲಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
ಜುಲೈ 30ರಂದು ಪ್ರತಾಪ್ ಸುಮಾರು 1 ಗಂಟೆಗೂ ಹೆಚ್ಚಿನ ಸಮಯ ತಮ್ಮ ಕೋಣೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ವಕೀಲರೊಂದಿಗೆ ಚರ್ಚೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ತೊಡಗಿರುವ ದೃಶ್ಯ ಸಿಸಿಟಿವಿ ಕ್ಯಾಮೆರಾದಲ್ಲಿ ಸೆರೆಯಾಗಿದೆ ಎಂದು ಪೊಲೀಸರು ತಿಳಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಕ್ವಾರಂಟೈನ್‌ನಲ್ಲಿರುವ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿಯನ್ನು ಭೇಟಿ ಮಾಡುವುದು ಕಾನೂನು ಉಲ್ಲಂಘನೆಯಾಗಿದೆ ಎಂದು ಅವರು ಸ್ಪಷ್ಟಪಡಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
ಕ್ವಾರಂಟೈನ್ ನಿಯಮ ಉಲ್ಲಂಘನೆಗೆ ಆರೋಪಕ್ಕೆ ಜಾಮೀನು ನೀಡುವ ಷರತ್ತುಗಳನ್ನು ಕುರಿತು ಚರ್ಚಿಸಲು ಲಾಯರ್‌ ಅವರನ್ನು ಕರೆಸಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದಾಗಿ ಪ್ರತಾಪ್ ಹೇಳಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
ಈ ನಡುವೆ ಹಲವು ಸುಳ್ಳುಗಳನ್ನು ಸಹ ಪ್ರತಾಪ್ ಪೋಣಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ ಎಂದು ಪೊಲೀಸರು ತಿಳಿಸಿದ್ದು, ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ವಿಪತ್ತು ನಿರ್ವಹಣಾ ಕಾಯ್ದೆಯ ಸೆಕ್ಷನ್ 51 ಬಿ ಅಡಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಐಪಿಸಿ ಸೆಕ್ಷನ್ 188, 269, 270 ಹಾಗೂ 271ರಡಿ ಪ್ರಕರಣ ದಾಖಲಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ. ಈ ಹಿಂದೆ ಹೋಂ ಕ್ವಾರಂಟೈನ್ ನಿಯಮ ಉಲ್ಲಂಘಿಸಿದ ಕಾರಣಕ್ಕೆ ಪ್ರತಾಪ್ ವಿರುದ್ಧ ಎಫ್ಐಆರ್ ದಾಖಲಾಗಿ ಮೈಸೂರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಆತನನ್ನು ಬಂಧಿಸಲಾಗಿತ್ತು. ಆ ಪ್ರಕರಣ ಮಾಸುವ ಮುನ್ನವೇ ಇದೀಗ ಇನ್ನೊಂದು ಪ್ರಕರಣ ಬೆಳಕಿಗೆ ಬಂದಿದೆ.

Bangalore: An FIR has been lodged at Ashoka Nagar police station in Bangalore against Dr. Pratap for allegedly violating the government’s Home Quarantine Rule.
The Star Hotel is located near Richmond Circle, Bangalore. M. Pratap was subjected to corporate quarantine on July 20. His Quarantine expires on August 3. Earlier, the police had filed a case against Pratap for violating the quarantine law by calling a lawyer for a hotel.
On July 30, Pratap was caught on camera with a CCTV camera in his room where he was having discussions with lawyers for more than 1 hour, police said. He made it clear that visiting a person in Quarantine was a violation of the law.
Pratap claims that Lauer was called in to discuss the bail conditions for the Quarantine violation.
Prathap, meanwhile, has alleged that Prathap has also been involved in a number of offenses under Section 51B of the National Disaster Management Act. An FIR was registered against Prathap for his violation of the Home Quarantine Act and he was arrested in Mysore. Another case has just come to light before the case is over.
